ALLAHUAKBAR

Vander Hoven, a psychologist from Netherlands, announced his new discovery about the effect of reading the Quran and repeating the word ALLAH both on patients and on normal persons. The Dutch professor confirms his discovery with studies and research applied on many patients over a period of three years.

Some of his patients were non-Muslims, others do not speak Arabic and were trained to pronounce the word “ALLAH” clearly; the result was great, particularly on those who suffer from dejection and tension.

Al Watan, a Saudi daily reported that the psychologist was quoted to say that Muslims who can read Arabic and who read the Quran regularly can protect themselves from psychological diseases. The psychologist explained how each letter in the word “ALLAH” affects healing of psychological diseases. He pointed out in his research that pronouncing the first letter in the word “ALLAH” which is the letter (A), released from the respiratory system, controls breathing. He added that pronouncing the velar consonant (L) in the Arabic way, with the tongue touching slightly the upper part of the jaw producing a short pause and then repeating the same pause constantly, relaxes the aspiration. Also, pronouncing the last letter which is the letter (H) makes a contact between the lungs and the heart and in turn this contact controls the heart beat.

What is exciting in the study is that this psychologist is a non-Muslim, but interested in Islamic sciences and searching for the secrets of the Holy Quran. Allah, The Great and Glorious, says, We will show them Our signs in the universe and in their own selves, until it becomes manifest to them that this (Quran) is the truth. (Holy Quran 42:53)

Pity state of Muslim Youths

In recent times there have been terror attacks in many parts of the world. For the past few days India has been a victim of this. There have been several terror attacks in the recent past in India. Everyone condemns these kinds on inhumanly attacks on innocent people. The main targets of the attack are the communal centre. India is a country of multifaith majority is being Hindus. Whenever there is a terror attack in any part of the world the first suspects are usually Muslims. Especially the Muslim youths are being targeted and they are taken into custody and interrogated in a bitter way. The cops suspects only Muslims and takes them for questioning even though they are innocents. So it can be said that, aftermath a terror attack Muslim community is the most affected community. Usually the interrogating methods are very abusive they are given electric shocks, sexually exploited, tortured in a cruel way and given innumerable and untold tortures. After some days when they are found to be innocent they are left free without even compensating for the tortures. The gory part of this entire thing is if some other attack takes place in that place again they are suspected and are taken into custody and subjected to same kind of tortures. This is what happening in the world now. India being a secular country is now following this culture. Whenever there is a terror strike in the country Muslim youths are being targeted and taken into custody. When Mecca masjid bomb blast took place in Hyderabad, hundreds of Muslims youths were taken into custody and are tortured in an undisclosed location. One of the victims summarize his experience, as he was tortured and given electric shock even in his genitals and was beaten up whenever he chanted the word ALLAH. In an interview to a news channel the Muslim youth recollects his memories of the torture he went through for 5 months. This is the state of Muslim community even though they are innocents they are attacked. And the most pity part of these tortures is, all are done in the name of law.

This must change; otherwise it will severely affect the growth of the Muslim community in all aspects.

Muslims in UK

After the 7/11 attacks in London there has been widespread violence against the Muslim community in many parts of the United Kingdom. Many are prejudiced against Muslim community. Muslims are often been targeted and they are verbally or physically abused. Their only crime is that they are strong in their faith and follow the principles of the Islam strongly. A Muslim woman says that she is afraid to go out in the streets with the veil because she is been abused and tortured verbally by the fellow beings.

If some miscreants do the crime why is that the entire community is punished for that?

There are many people who are born and brought up in UK but still they are treated as outsiders and abused because they follow their religion.

This scenario must change for the betterment of the future.

power cuts in chennai

In many parts of Tamil Nadu there is shortage of power. So the Tamil Nadu Electricity Board has decided to have a periodic and scheduled power cut in many parts of the state. But Chennai city and it's suburbs were spared from this to some extent. But last week TNEB decided to have a scheduled power cut in Chennai and its suburbs. This is a good thing because the public are informed well in advance about the periodic power cut which is done daily for sometime. The sad part of this is the discrimination made against the city and the suburbs region. In city the power cut will be for one hour but in suburbs the power cut will be there for two hours.

Why there is discrimination in providing power supply when all of us pay the same charge?

According to Indian Constitution all citizens have equal rights, then why there is discrimination in providing power based on the region?

All should be treated equally, if there is a power cut for two hours in suburbs then city should also have the same time period. I hope the government will take correct actions for this.

Is Nuclear energy - the future source of energy?

Now the entire India is debating about the nuclear deal with U.S. Why the government is so much interested in the nuclear deal? What is the need of nuclear energy now?

These are the questions which are echoing in the nook and corner of the country. If we analyze these questions we will know that the nuclear energy is the alternate and future source of energy. In India the primary source of energy is from coal. The entire country is provided energy with lignite corporations. Only a few percentage of energy is being used from the other sources. If this condition continues then in near future there will be shortage in the power. This will lead to frequent power cuts, inadequate power supply. So to avoid these conditions we have to find an alternate source of energy. As we all know that the energy released during a nuclear reaction is very large. If this energy is utilized properly then it will be the best alternate fuel in the future. So the government is trying to develop a strong nuclear power base. But there are many flaws in the nuclear deal with U.S. If those things are corrected then this step of the government will the turning point in the future.

Will Sambu get license?

Sambu went for the LLR test but unfortunately many questions asked there was out of syllabus according to Sambu and got arrear. Everyone knows it, if u are not aware of that click here and see for the further information. Sambu felt very bad for that, because he thought that first step towards driving appeared to be bad omen. Since there is no revaluation Sambu has to appear for the exam the second time.So Sambu made up his mind to give his best shot in the examination. This time he prepared well but unfortunately the question paper was twisted. Like Anna University question paper, the LLR question paper was tough. That made Sambu frustrated and even started thinking of suing the RTO department. Sambu tried to answer the questions but unfortunately he kept the arrear for the second time. Heart broken Sambu then decided not get license thereafter because of this failure. But there was something in him said that he can do it the third time so he decided to give his best shot in the third attempt.

Readers please do observe two minutes silence for Sambu’s arrears.

Sambu was confident and he prepared very hard. He didnt sleep the night before the exam and he read till the morning and was confident of getting the LLR this time. At last in the third attempt he cleared the LLR test

(This is after getting LLR)

Bravo Sambu we are very proud of you. You really did it. Hats off for our commitment and hard work.

Now we are waiting for the Judgement day. The fate of Sambu will be decided on that day. We are eagerly looking forward for that day with fingers crossed.

Are you confused of what this Judgement day means?

Don’t panic and waste your thinking power. It’s the day on which Sambu will take his driving test. The practical examination for getting the license.

Will he clear that without arrears?

We should wait and see

Sambu all the best da machan you will rock......

Will India win a gold atleast this time in Olympics?

Olympics is nearing and as usual many Indians hope that India will win a gold medal at least this time. Usually Hockey team was the one which would fetch us a medal in Olympics, but unfortunately we didn’t qualify for the Olympics this time. Now the hope lies entirely on Indian Express. Many Indians hope that the duo of Mahesh Bhupathi and Leander Paes will get the elusive gold medal in Olympics. After a long negotiation they two agreed to play together for the country’s sake. But their alliance also seems too weak because in a recently concluded tournament they got eliminated in the first round itself. But still the hopes are high for them. Next we have a strong battalion of shooting team. Medals are expected in double trap event in which Rathore won silver medal. There is also hope in boxing. We are a country which has a population of more than 1000 million but still we are not able to produce a single gold medal in individual event in Olympics. Like always our hopes are high on our athletes and we hope that this time they will perform well and add glory to our country.
With fingers crossed……………….

Will the UPA government survive?

Finally the numbers game has begun for Indian politics.

Will the government survive?

Will they pass the trust vote?

These are the questions that echo in every corner of our country. Due to the nuclear deal the Left parties withdrew its support for the government so the majority has gone down. So the Prime Minister has to prove his majority in order to complete his full tenure. Now what is more important for the government is getting the magic number of 271, which is the half way mark to number seats in Lok Sabha. The opposition NDA has 265 votes against the government, whereas the ruling UPA has 256 votes at its kitty. But they need 14 more votes to save their government. There 19 undecided votes left. Of which 14 in favor of UPA will save this government. So the UPA is trying every possible way to convince these MP’s to vote for them.

Due this crisis many small parties have gained significance. Since every vote counts, the smaller parties are taking advantages of it in order to get their works done. There are also some reports that 3 or 4 MP’s from the opposition NDA side will abstain voting. This will lessen the half way mark to 267. So UPA is having its fingers crossed. The trust vote will be taken on Monday.

Inflation on Thursday

Inflation is the hot word in India as far now. Every week people switch on their TV sets to see the inflation rate. For the past few months the inflation rate in India has doubled because of the increase in global crude oil rate. When we compare the inflation rate of March with July we can clearly see that it has doubled. Now the inflation rate is more than 11%. Usually this inflation rate will be announced on Friday but now the inflation rate will be published on Thursday itself after 1700hrs.

11 million dollar photo

A photo costs 11 million dollars . Do you believe it ? You believe it or not its the fact
They may be just a day old, but Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's twins are already worth 11 million dollars, what with a paper shelving out that kind of money for their first picture. The 'Tomb Raider' actress delivered a boy named Knox Leon and a girl called Vivienne Marcheline yesterday at a maternity clinic in Nice on the French Riviera. And the golden couple of Hollywood has already sold the first photograph of the baby celebrities to a US paper for a whopping 11 million US dollars.

End of Gates and XP

The biggest jolt for Microsoft and even other business corporations was that of Bill Gates’ exit. He decided to call it quits in order to take care of the Melinda Gates foundation. So, after the Gates’ exit, the burden now fell on the shoulders of the CEO Steve Ballmer. But, the exit of Gates ironically also marked the end of the renowned OS Windows XP which has been a big hit among millions of users. Even after the introduction of Vista, many users still use XP because of the fact that XP is user friendly and Vista is having a few tweaks and bugs which need to be corrected. Apart from that, the fact thay Vista is more expensive has allowed users to use XP itself instead of Vista until the Windows 7 is launched. So, Microsoft are now looking to stop XP and groom the Vista and manufacture more of Vista software. So, its Gates gone, also is XP. :(

A separate toilet

There are a group of people in this who are neither male or female but belong to a separate sex . They are treated as third sex and medical peoples. But a common man doesnt realise that. They seem to give trouble to the third sex. They face greater many problems in this world. One the major problem is the toilet. Taking that into account a toilet was purposely made in an elementary school for the use of transvestites in Thailand. This was done for those persons of the third sex who are somehow confused of whether to go to the male or female’s toilet. They are often ridiculed or made fun of when they enter any of the two genders’ toilet. This is a good move because transvestites they might be, they also need respect in everything they do.

Car driving

Yesterday I went to RTO office to put LLR for car driving and I got mine successfully. Evening I went to the driving school and it was my first class. I went along with my friend Boopathi. The first day itself I was asked to drive in the GST road. I was to drive second. I was asked to drive from Tambaram to Pallavaram. At first I was little tense but as I started to drive the tension eased and I drove very well. Though I had problems in shifting the gears at first I managed at the end of the journey. It was a good experience overall…..

They also stated that this was because of the earthquake that shook the Andaman & Nicobar islands with the richter scale measuring around 6.7. So, this sudden tremor has shook the people but the department has asked the people not to panic or worry about this tremor.

After 25 years

Twenty five years have passed by and still the memories are afresh in our minds. Its on the same date India won its first cricket world cup at Lords, London. It’s a day no Indian will ever forget. Kapil Dev and his boys took on the mighty Clive Lloyds West Indies team. The odds were 61:1 against India. India played first and scored only 183 which was a small target for great team like West Indies. But Indian team played so well that they defended the small total and defeated the West Indies comfortably. Many described that as David slaying Goliath. Whatever it be , those 11 players brought glory to our country which is embarked in cricket history forever.

Last day in college

Yesterday I went to my college to get all my certificates. Went there in the morning in the college bus. It was completely a different experience. When we reached there it was informed that we have to get the signature in the no due form only then the certificates will be issued. Then we went to the department library, central library to get the no due signed from the respective in chargers. Finally we went to the HOD to get his sign. When we entered the lab, my memories started to ponder the college days. Hmmm it was a dream period. Then we finally went to collect our certificates. To my surprise I saw that I got 78% overall. I thought I would get something around 76%. Thank you My Lord… finally when we left the college I felt very emotional. I can never forget my college life…….

My 21st birthday

Today is my 21st birthday and I really enjoyed a lot. I went out with my friends and gave them treat in Lee’s restaurant. We all had good non vegetarian food. After finishing the lunch we went to fruit shop near Besant nagar beach. After partying in the fruit shop we went to beach that’s the place where the real fun started. My friends asked me to cut the cake when I bent over to cut the cake they started to throw eggs at me. In no time my t-shirt got drenched in egg. Then the rain came to add more misery to me. Finally I went to my friends had a bath then went home. I left my home at 1ten in the morning when I reached home it was 9.30. but overall I enjoyed a lot. Thank you friends……

Higher inflation rate

Inflation rate is climbing higher and higher. This is causing greater problems to Indian middle class family. The higher inflation rate has caused price hike of many commodities. The hike in the crude oil price globally has influenced the inflation rate to a greater extent. But what is more bothering is not only the petrol and diesel prices have gone up but also other products prices have also gone up. The petrol and diesel price hike has indirectly increased the prices of the other products. Even vegetables, fruits and other edible items have higher price rates. Many experts say that that this scenario will continue for some more months, but the general public is already feeling the heat out of this issue. What is more important is that the government should take appropriate steps to control the inflation rate. If this continues then the survival of Indian middle class family will become very difficult in this country.

IPL- A success story

IPL finally ended in a grand manner. As expected a team with least expectancy won the championship. Rajasthan Royals deserve the cup. They played really well throughout the tournament. Even Chennai Superkings played well. Since this 20-20 format is fast gaining popularity among the cricket fans, this tournament kicked off in a grand manner. Almost all the grounds were full for all matches and that has been the success part of this tournament. BCCI has decided to have two seasons in a year but that will take some time. But as far as now the tournament was a grand success and kudos to Lalit Modi and his team.

Do you know.....

* Dubai is the fastest growing city in the world. There is no income tax and there are no personal taxes either. In Dubai Emirates Mall you can ski indoors while shopping, measuring 400 meters and using 6000 tons of snow. Burj Dubai will become the world’s tallest building, along with the world’s tallest man-made structure when it is completed. Eighty percent of Dubai residents are foreigners.
* The fear of number 13 is called triskaidekaphobia and it was derived from treiskaideka, the Greek word for thirteen and phobia. In Formula 1, there is no car with the number 13.
* It is common mistake to say that The Great wall of China is visible from outer space. It is too thin to be noticed from such a great distance. Only two man made structures visible from space are: The Pyramids of Giza and the Hoover Dam.
* You burn more calories sleeping than you do watching television.
* The little lump of flesh just in front of your ear canal, right next to your temple, is called a ‘tragus’.
* Your stomach cells secrete hydrochloric acid, a corrosive compound that is used to treat metals in the industrial world. It can pickle steel, but the mucous lining around the stomach wall keeps this poisonous liquid safely in the digestive system.
* The fear that he might conceal a joke in it was one reason that Benjamin Franklin was not entrusted by his peers with the assignment of writing the Declaration of Independence.
* Einstein won the Nobel Prize in 1921 for his work on the photoelectric effect.
* 100,000 Swiss francs or approximately $80,000 is needed to open a Swiss bank account.

My final year project

Finally i m going to tel you all about my final year project and here is the abstract

Now a days many governments and private organisations even individuals need to navigate and track their vehicles or real time objects while on the move. They need to track their vehicles from anywhere around the globe. Also taking into consideration when a vehicle is lost it is tedious job to find it.Its not easy to track vehicle , just with the vehicle number or the location where it is lost.Giving description about vehicle just cant help in this real time situation. But with the help of GPS , the vehicle can be found easily and can be tracked.
Usually two GSM modems are used along with the GPS receiver for the navigation and tracking purpose and for transferring the data from the vehicle to the control room. One GSM modem will be used in the control room from where the vehicles are tracked .The other one will be fitted with the vehicle along with the GPS receiver
The aim of our project is to navigate and track vehicles on the move, but with a low cost approach and with easier method. We are not going to use any GSM modems .But instead we are going to use the internet for transferring the signal from vehicle to the control room. The data fetched by the GPS receiver from the GPS satellites is processed using i microcontroller kit and it will be transferred to the PC in the control troom through internet via PC serial port. The data fetched in the PC will be processed using JAVA environment and the vehicle can be tracked in Google Earth

High storage laptops

Days that considered hundred gigabytes of storage is adequate for the extravagant use have vanished over times. Now we are in the verge of receiving a portable PC with the highest ever on-board disk storage of one terabyte. This can be used to store huge lump of information. The Asus M50 and M70 series multimedia notebooks will soon be available with this colossal storage. This would be a passable space for over 2lakh songs or 1000 hours of video. The Asus laptop seems to be aimed at graphics-heavy applications, for users who might want to play video footage, which consumes gigabytes of memory. Hitachi is also in the threshold of developing another application that is home digital video recorders or DVRs for users who wish to document movies or serials from TV and build up a private library for suitable viewing

10 Things to save environment

1. Use a glass when brushing your teeth. Every year, billions of liters of fresh water is wasted by simply not using a glass when brushing your teeth.

2. Don't use straws. They say the straw is the most stupid invention. They are unnecessary and only add to our waste problem.

3. Say NO to plastics when shopping. Bring your own reusable bags when doing your grocery, or when buying single items like books or cd's, a plastic bag, or even a paper bag is unnecessary.

4. Turn off the lights. When there is ample daylight or when no one is in the room. You not only save on electricity, you also lower temperature as light gives off heat.

5. Walk. Take the stairs. Or car pool or take public transportation. You not only lower your carbon gas emissions, you are also doing your heart good when you walk regularly.

6. Unplug cell phone chargers after use. As well as all unused electronic appliances. Some appliances use more electricity even when not in use. Microwave oven with timers uses more electricity on stand by mode the entire day than when you cook dinner with it.

7. Use both sides of the paper. And make sure to recycle it after. You not only lessen your wastes but you also help stop the unnecessary cutting of more trees.

8. Turn off shower when soaping. And make sure to avoid long and frequent showers. Showering three times a day not only uses precious fresh water, but also creates more waste water that goes into our rivers and lakes. It dries your skin too.

9. Never burn anything. Burned resources are lost forever. Burning also releases harmful substances into the atmosphere. Reduce and reuse always. Compost and recycle what you can.

10. Tell your friends about this. Spread the word, and together we can make a difference

Recovering the deleted files

Every now and then, you might end up in sticky situations where you accidentally delete files which are not meant to be deleted. This is where tools like UndeleteMyFiles come in handy. The software does exactly what the name suggests, but unlike other file recovery softwares available out there, UndeleteMyFiles has a unique preview feature which can restore files to temp directory and open it in the default viewer, so that you can check out the files which should be brought back to your hard disk.

UndeleteMyFiles has three modes: File Recovery, Media Recovery and Mail Recovery. Media Recovery helps you to undelete media files, whereas mail recovery can retrieve accidentally deleted Outlook emails.

My first poem

In the midst of teen,
I came across a cool breeze,
Never thought at that moment
My life will depend on it.

I didn’t believe in the fairy tales
Till she came through my way
She captivated me
Through her enchanting eyes.
Nor it was her intend
Or my mistake
It’s the fate which
Brought us together;
But the bliss of joy
Remained only for a while.
She went
Away from me

My heart pains,
My soul bleeds, wanting her
On my side forever
I weep and pray all alone
But she cannot see it
Nor can she hear my prayers
But I continue doing that
In the belief
That one day the prayers
Will be answered.

No more to MEMORISING

Our current examination system is under severe criticism in the context of its efficiency in motivating the students towards their career.I am a die hard opponent to the system of memorizing the concepts without understanding it and other corresponding application areas associated with it.Luckily for the current generation this sympathetic situation would be erased. This act would be enriched by the so called open book exams about which i came to know through the newspaper. We are proud to say that we have an astonishing IT boom in our country but an underlying truth is that equally there is scarcity of employee talent. This current situation can be lifted through the above said examination system.
The problem with the current system is that students memorize the so called important questions, replicate on the answer sheet and finish the job. This will never allow the students to showcase their ability to apply any of the theory that they have learnt. The solution to this problem can be achieved by restructuring the approach towards examinations, on the part of the examiners, the teachers and the students. Open book exams allows student to bring study material, which may range from a single sheet to prescribed textbooks.Examination should be conducted in such a way that the questions would have to test applications of principles. This would kindle their imagination and ensure true learning. This system also drives out the act of malpractice during the examinations. However the effectiveness of this feature lies on the ability on the examiners in setting original, application-based questions. This system should not feature predictable questions and patterns. If this is implemented with utmost care we would have a bright career ahead and we will experience a confident leap into the IT sector.

My First Project

Obstacle detection is important in this modern world because damages can arise due to the collision, this can be avoided by using a sensor system which detects the obstacle in a place and repots the same to the person concerned or in the automation system the sensor circuit reports to the system . This sensor system helps to know the obstacle in a place and informs the target . This sensor circuit can be constructed using an IR sensor , which detects the obstacle in a path and alarms the person of its presence

Tennis becoming predictable?

Is tennis becoming more predictable?

The answer is yes....

For the past five years in the wimbledon women’s singles title is being grabbed by the william sisters Serena and Venus williams. Venus williams clinched her fifth wimbledon title defeting her younger sister in the sets 7-5, 6-4. The match was really close and the battle was intriguing as serena made venus to sweat a lot and win her title. This is the fifth year of domination of the william sisters in this championship. Where are the top seeds in wimbledon? why they are not reaching the finals.

In the same way men’s singles is also dominated by Federer and Nadal for the third time. So nowadays the finalists have become predictable and the interest in watching this game is decreasing. Let’s hope for a different set of finalists for the next wimbledon at least.

Eyepod

The pains in the fingers due to continue using of ipod will be over soon.........
Technical advancements are day by day increasing. There are many smaller tiny machines coming up which are doing multiple functions. Here is one such example of this technical advancement which proved to be one of the milestones in this technical era. It is nothing but an eyepod which is controlled by our eyes. This is something amazing. If we open our eyes it will also open and if we close one of our eyes it will rewind and fast forward for the other eye. But this when accustomed to one’s eye will not react properly to others. The further enhancement in this will be an eyepod which could be operated by any pair of eyes.So now hands and fingers have nothing to do over the ipod panel

ipod

Macworld 2008 came and went, but no changes in the lineup of iPods or iPhone. Almost three weeks later, Apple has unveiled a new iPhone and a iPod Touch with twofold of storage compared to their previous model, which means iPhone now comes in 16GB flavor and iPod Touch in 32GB.

The double storage iPhone comes with a price tag of $499, while the existing 8GB model remains $399. The new 16GB iPhone costs just as much as the old 4GB iPhone, which was discontinued after the initial launch.

New 32GB iPod Touch is also priced at $499, making it the most expensive iPod ever sold. It’ll join its 8GB and 16GB sibs priced at $299 and $399 respectively. Those who own older models of iPhone or iPod Touch shouldn’t really be bothered because their prices have remained as it is. Remember the debacle when Apple dropped the price of an 8GB iPhone and discontinued 4GB model? Apple won’t be doing the same mistake over again.

Both 16GB iPhone and 32GB iPod Touch are available at Apple’s online store. You also purchase 32GB iPhone from AT&T’s retail outlet.
